Members Only
QAMH Members are invited to join us for our Online Members Forum where we will be joined by Brook RED’s Blake Barber, who will present on “How to Make Your Service More Affirming for LGBTQIAP+ Folk”.
Creating a service that is truly affirming for LGBTQIAP+ individuals requires more than just inclusive language and policies; it necessitates a deep understanding and commitment to the unique experiences and challenges faced by this diverse community, often considered at-risk in the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Sector.
This session aims to provide you with insights, strategies, and practical tools to enhance your service delivery and create a more welcoming and supportive environment for LGBTQIAP+ people. You will hear about the value of improving inclusivity and support for gender and sexually diverse individuals within your services.
