NDIS Pricing Reform 2024

The current NDIS pricing model does not reflect the true cost of delivering high quality support to people with psychosocial disability. At this critical juncture, as the NDIS undergoes reform and demand for services continues to increase, it is crucial that we establish the right pricing for services and ensure that providers see the NDIS as a viable and sustainable option for service delivery. To achieve this QAMH strongly supports transferring NDIS pricing responsibility to the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority.

In addition to independent pricing, we recommend;

  • review current indexation and cost-modelling to accurately reflect the real costs of providing timely, high quality, person-led services that accommodate regional variation and include supervision and training; and
  • improve funding processes to allow businesses opportunity to appropriately plan for the financial year ahead with certainty.
