Submissions

QAMH provided a submission to the National Disability Insurance Agency on the Annual Pricing Review 2021-22, in which we advocated for fairer pricing arrangements for providers of psychosocial disability services. This submission focused on the need to:

• Simplify the pricing arrangements and reduce the administrative burden
• Review the fee for service model, which fails to address the ancillary costs associated with employing staff
• Review pricing arrangements so they better reflect the particular challenges faced by providers in remote and very remote areas
• Review the recovery coach line item to reflect the high levels of expertise in coaching people with severe, complex mental health needs
