Women’s Health and Equality Queensland (WHEQ) is a not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to advance the health and wellbeing of all Queensland women. They provide counselling and support services for those who have experienced violence, as well as community engagement, education, and advocacy services to stop violence occurring in the first place. Their work is funded through a grant provided by the Department of Justice and Attorney-General.
