Associate Member Criteria

QAMH welcomes membership applications from organisations and individuals committed to strengthening the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing sector in Queensland. Our membership criteria are not an accreditation process, but rather a framework for understanding whether prospective and current members align with the expectations and values that guide QAMH’s work. These expectations reflect our sector’s shared commitment to integrity, ethical workforce practices, and genuine contribution to community mental health. While the process is based on self-assessment, QAMH retains the discretion to decline or revoke membership at any time where concerns arise about alignment with our values, reputational risk, or sector standards. Applicants for Membership are invited to consider the following areas of alignment. Some criteria are essential and must be met to progress an application.
Do you/your organisation share QAMH's commitment to strengthening the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Sector?*
Do you/your organisation work in a field related to community mental health? (eg research, training, advocacy, legal, or system reform)*
Do you/your organisation engage with the sector in a way that is constructive, inclusive, and aligned with shared sector goals?*
