At this online Members Forum we will be joined by Ryan Jesson – Cognitive Scientist & AI Consultant. Ryan Jesson is a Cognitive Scientist based at The University of Queensland. As an award-winning public speaker with extensive experience in teaching and learning design, Ryan’s consultancy work specialises in impactful educational programs that have helped hundreds of professionals leverage AI technologies within their workplace.

In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, AI tools like ChatGPT are transforming how we work in the mental health sector. This session will introduce Members to practical applications of AI that can enhance workplace efficiency while maintaining professional expertise. Drawing on cognitive science principles, Ryan will demonstrate how to effectively collaborate with AI tools to streamline administrative tasks and improve documentation processes. Participants will learn evidence-based strategies for integrating AI into their practice, understanding both its capabilities and limitations. This presentation is designed for professionals looking to harness AI technology in ethical and practical ways that complement human expertise.
