QAMH Online Members Forum: Building an Architecture of Feeling: The ALIVE National Centre’s Roadmap for Mental Health Research Translation

August 9, 2024 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Members Only

QAMH Members are invited to join us for our Online Members Forum where we will hear from Prof. Victoria Palmer and Prof. Michelle Banfield from the ANU-Alive Mental Health Research Centre.

In this presentation Co-Directors of the National Centre established in 2021 will provide an update on the ALIVE National co-designed roadmap for national mental health research translation. This roadmap provides a living, dynamic picture on the priorities of people with lived-experience of mental ill-health and ongoing distress and people caring for someone with lived-experience as carer family and kinship group members. The roadmap and its pathways with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and priority populations impacted by continuous inequities drive the regeneration of the mental health care ecosystem and systems transformation. The presentation will outline the roadmap framework and how this is operationalised through the networks of the National Centre and its membership base.
