Members Only

QAMH Members are invited to join us for our Online Members Forum where we will learn more about the Safe Spaces program from Amanda Queen, Brisbane North PHN.

A Safe Space is an inclusive, welcoming and warm environment that provides a community-based peer-led model of care for vulnerable people experiencing emotional distress or crisis. Brisbane North PHN was funded to establish and operate four Safe Spaces and to build capacity in the community through a Safe Spaces network. Amanda will present an overview of the Safe Spaces program, the establishment and implementation of Safe Spaces in the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region and key findings from the evaluation.
