At this online Members Forum we will be joined by Lucy Quinn, Fundraising Programs Manager, and Hannah Jesson, Community Engagement Manager, at LifeFlight, for an insightful session on driving fundraising success through strategic appeals and meaningful community connections.
Lucy brings a wealth of experience from her time as a fundraising consultant in the United States, working with a wide range of charities from grassroots organisations to large national entities. At LifeFlight, she leads purpose-driven appeal campaigns, combining data-driven insights with creative thinking to navigate the complexities of multi-channel fundraising. Lucy will share how she adapts and responds to changing circumstances, highlighting the importance of agility in meeting funding targets while keeping LifeFlight’s mission and strong donor relationships at the heart of every strategy. Her expertise demonstrates that Individual Giving can create meaningful impact, regardless of an organisation’s size or budget.
Hannah, with over a decade of experience in the charity sector across the UK, USA, and Australia, will explore the pivotal role of community engagement in fundraising. She’ll discuss how events and activities can do more than just raise immediate funds—they can open doors to future philanthropic opportunities, foster long-term supporter relationships, and strengthen brand awareness. Hannah will share practical examples of how LifeFlight leverages community connections to build a sustainable pipeline of support.
Whether you’re focused on appeals, community events, or looking to integrate both, this session will offer valuable insights into how strategic flexibility and genuine engagement can drive fundraising success.
We look forward to our member’s continued involvement and engagement in our member’s forums.
