The Mental Health Industry Connector pilot project aims to create a strong pipeline of well-prepared workers into our sector by assisting students of the TAFE Certificate IV in Mental Health (CHC43315) to successfully complete the course and graduate with an understanding of the Community and Mental Health and Wellbeing sector. QAMH Is funded to deliver this project by Jobs Queensland under the Queensland Care Consortium.

QAMH was engaged by Community Mental Health Australia (CMHA) to deliver the Psychosocial Approaches to Thriving Health Systems (PATHS) Project from September 2024 to May 2025. Building on insights from the Assisting Communities through Direct Connection (ACDC) Project which highlighted the diverse needs and inequities in accessing mental health support, particularly among groups facing systemic barriers, PATHS was designed to respond to the growing gap in psychosocial supports for people who are not eligible for the NDIS.

The Peer Work Scholarship Program, funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care and commissioned by the Queensland Mental Health Commission, was administered by QAMH from March 2023 to January 2025.

The Peer Workforce Student Mentoring Program is a collaboration between Queensland Alliance for Mental Health (QAMH), Queensland Lived Experience Workforce Network (QLEWN), TAFE Queensland (TAFE QLD) and WorkAbility Queensland, through Community Services Industry Alliance (CSIA). The project is funded by Department Employment Small Business and Training (DESBT) under the (National Disability Insurance Scheme) NDIS training and Skills Support Strategy (NTSSS), an initiative delivered on behalf of WorkAbility Qld.
